6. To deliver the best level of patient care and efficiency regarding packages and series offerings, we strive for transparency and for clear expectations to be set with the policies below:
• At New York Cosmetology Company LLC services are provided on a prepaid basis only.
• All service packages and pre-paid treatments must be used within 2 year(s) from the date of purchase or they will expire.
• In the event that a package or series of treatments has begun, these services will be considered to have been rendered even though the full series may not have been completed.
• We do not offer refunds on services rendered.
• At New York Cosmetology Company LLC we offer treatments and products that are irrevocable. Therefore, we do not issue refunds or credits for any product or service that has been injected or used in your treatment including but not limited to. Again, all sales are final. In consenting to be treated, it is important that our patients understand and accept this condition.
• Should you wish to discontinue your treatment in the midst of a series, credit for the pro-rated share of unused treatments at the discounted package price may be extended, and this may be used to purchase other treatments or products offered by New York Cosmetology Company LLC. In exceptional force majeure circumstances, the money paid for the package can be returned with recalculation at the cost of services in the price list. This determination will be made as needed and based on Office Manager’s approval at the purchasing location. This is not a guarantee.
• Patients who have purchased our services from a Friends & Family event or Open House, agree that they understand and consent to the terms and conditions of that promotion, as the terms and conditions of that promotion will apply. Services that have already been rendered will not be redeemed again.
• Some treatments may require additional medical consultations or documentation prior to commencement.
7. Transaction Restrictions
• A NO REFUND policy, where no services/products were rendered, is not acceptable, except in the case of custom special order items, where the non-refundability has been clearly disclosed to the cardholder.
• All skincare retail product (both RX and non-RX) sales are final and monies paid are non-refundable. In case of documented allergic reaction or clearly defective product, exchanges can be made within 14 days of purchase for skincare product credit only. Must have original proof of purchase and exchange can only be made at the original purchase location, per management approval.
8. Cancellation and No-Show Policy, as well as During the Procedure
• All clients must sign a consent form before any treatment, confirming their understanding and agreement with these policies.
• The company is not liable for any adverse effects resulting from a client’s failure to follow pre- or post-procedure care instructions.
• As a courtesy to other patients, we request you arrive on time. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, you may be asked to reschedule. Appointments canceled on the date of a scheduled visit represent a cost to the practice and a missed opportunity to see other patients who are waiting for a visit date.
• We require 48 hours’ notice of cancellation.
• Reminders will be provided but are not guaranteed.
• In the event that you have booked a treatment that requires or may require prior preparation, and you cancel the treatment by yourself, whether before, during, or after your visit, the amount previously paid for the booking will not be refunded.
• The client is responsible for the costs of their treatment. If the client stops the service, the client must pay for it. The client cannot blame the company or employees for their decision. The client must pay for all costs. If the client starts the service, they must pay for it in full.
• If you are a new patient, we ask that you arrive 30 minutes early for registration completion, so we can see you at your scheduled appointment time.
• For each patient, a specific amount of time is allocated in the schedule depending on the procedure, which may vary in duration. To ensure adherence to the appointment schedule, the company reserves the right to interrupt and terminate the service being provided to a patient if, due to their actions (e.g., phone calls during the procedure, changes in decisions regarding the course of the procedure after it has begun, long pauses that interfere with the work, or any other actions that extend the duration of the procedure), a delay occurs. This applies when the patient exceeds the time allotted for them in the schedule.
• The appointment time is the company’s internal information and is not subject to mandatory disclosure to the patient.
• To avoid stopping or prematurely terminating the procedure, the patient may be offered to pay a fee for extending the allocated time to complete the service. Additional time is required if the appointment exceeds the scheduled time by more than 10 minutes.
• The extension of an appointment cannot exceed 1 hour if other patients are scheduled immediately after the current appointment. The cost of additional time is calculated at a rate of $100.00 for every 10 minutes.
• The prepayment for booking includes reserving the time slot and preparation for the procedure.
